Judges Agreement
I, as an official judge of the Headline Awards, hereby promise to ensure the fair treatment of all entries to the best of my abilities. I promise to read/view all entries in my assigned categories, even if read before. I promise to judge only on the merit of the work and put aside any preference I may have as to supporting characters or pairings. I will also bring to the attention of the moderators any issue that might impede my fairest judgment, such as close friendships with the authors or discomfort with plots and situations. I also acknowledge my right to bring any problem I’m having to the moderators. This can include requesting assistance with awarding placement in my category, or an inability to fulfill any of the above mentioned.
This will be include on the sites with all the rules to assure the participants that we are doing our best. Any thoughts?
